I've been working out with P90X and P90X plus for 18 months. I've gotten into great shape, the best in my life. There are 20 different workouts in this program and yet...lately I've been feeling bored. It happens to me no matter what workout I'm doing. After participating in it for whatever period of time, no matter how great it is, I get bored. Then I find myself starting to dread workout time.
When I start to feel that coming on, it's time to switch it up! If I don't, guess what will happen? I will quit working out and that's not good. So last week I ordered a new workout. I'm doing ChaLean Extreme which is a weight training workout designed to burn fat. I will keep throwing in some P90X workouts so I don't lose my awesome pull-up abilities.
The point it, no matter what you are doing to stay in shape, if you start to get bored. DON'T QUIT. Switch it up and get yourself interested in your workout again. You will be glad that you did.
